Kylie Minogue Files Notice of Opposition Against Kylie Jenner’s Trademark Claim
Gossip Date: 01-03-2016

She’s been a famous singer and actress for decades, so when Kylie Minogue caught wind of a trademark application on behalf of Kylie Jenner, she decided to take action.

Apparently, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star filed to trademark “Kylie” in the USA for “advertising services, namely, promoting the brands, goods and services of others; endorsement services, namely, promoting the goods and services of others.”

Minogue filed a Notice of Opposition on February 22nd to prevent Jenner from diluting her brand as she’s “known worldwide simply as ‘Kylie.’” Furthermore, the sassy Australian registered the domain www.kylie.com back in 1996. Her notice also called Jenner a "secondary reality television personality who appeared on the television series Keeping Up With the Kardashians as a supporting character, to Ms. Jenner’s half sisters."
