Taking a break from what she does best; Julianne Hough is calling it quits on “Dancing With the Stars.”

The blonde beauty tells press, “I’m not [going back] next season. But I love that show.” She adds, “I’m completely battered and bruised. It looks like I’ve got rug burn all over my body!”

When asked about returning to the show for the following season, Hough simply replied, “We’re going to cross that bridge when we get to that.”

In the months ahead, the dancer and singer will be focused on acting as she is set to star in “Footloose” with Chace Crawford as well as a musical Burlesque with Christina Aguilera.

As for Julianne’s breakup with Chuck Wicks, she says that they’ve managed to stay friends. “He’s great,” she said. “He’s amazing.”
