He’s always happy to put his money where his mouth is, and Leonardo DiCaprio made a sizeable donation to help those affected by the Nice, France terrorist attacks.

The “Catch Me If You Can” stud raised $45 million at his star-studded charity gala last night (July 20), where celebrities like Edward Norton, Tobey Maguire, Scarlett Johansson, Marion Cotillard, Cate Blanchett, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kevin Spacey gathered at the Domaine Bertraud Belieu Vineyard in St. Tropez, France.

DiCaprio also spoke passionately about the problem of climate change- "While we are the first generation that has the technology, the scientific knowledge, and the global will to build a truly sustainable economic future for all of humanity, we are the last generation that has a chance to stop climate change before it is too late.”
